edit: oops I named the day too soon. It is Ice Chipping Day in honor of the oh-so-funny person who thought it would be a clever idea to pour water into the ice cream freezer. La la la. Luckily I have left my pocket knife at home.

so, in the matter of rituals - we're doing the whole st. joseph thing this weekend. during the festival that happens in my neighborhood. Bury the statue upside-down, tell him you'll get him out of the uncomfortable position he's in just as soon as he works some houseselling juju. I don't know whether this is more funny or more sad. but I'm tempted to make an Occasion out of it.
