Sean, it was Brimstone. And it was great.
Yeah, that was it. I remember watching it and liking it. And having it cancelled pretty quick.
Sean, publish~ma. (Which publisher?)
PAIZO! I'm verra excited. I know for sure I have not been summarily rejected, as those notices have already gone out. Also, the competition pool is exactly 150 entries, so I'm feeling pretty good about my chances of getting into the final 10.
Publishing~ma, Sean! That's awesome!
And having it cancelled pretty quick.
Of course--it was on Fox!
Recruiter called DH today. Looks like the company is putting together an offer package that includes a hefty signing bonus. Odds are increasing that we may be moving. I'm oddly excited about the prospect.
Reaper is pretty much the bastard child of Brimstone and Mallrats. The pilot was awesomecakes.

All reports I've heard so far is that Reaper is good, I was just struck by it's similarity of premise to Brimstone (even if I couldn't remember Brimstone so well).
Unfortunately, it's up against The Unit, which means right now, I won't be watching Reaper first run.
Paizo? Cool! I thought they were locked into their Pathfinder stuff. Are you doing something for that?
ION, a typical weeknight around our house. I'm looking at SitterCity.com for a babysitter, and R is looking at a DVD porn site. He's reading the reviews aloud. I've learned two things: this site only cares about the technical stuff, like which lenses were used, and the new-to-me term for (I presume) spermicide: "Population pudding."

Yeah--C watched the Unit, too. So I've got some reprogramming to do on the DVR.
!!!! Where?
Steven's Point, Wisconsin. We're waiting to see what the offer is and working on pro/con lists.

They also have a line of modules they're putting out under their Gamemastery line, and it was an open call for one of those upcoming modules. They were already planning on putting out this open call, but with the planned release of 4th Edition next May, it's on a very aggresive schedule (since this module will still be under 3.5 rules). They'll announce the 10 finalists by next week, and will expect a full outline of the module from those 10. The winner will be chosen by the end of October, and will have a deadline of January 1st to turn in a 22,000 word module. I think I have a pretty good shot at being a finalist.
And even if not picked, I expect any of the 10 finalists will be approched for other writing projects in the future, even without open calls. They've also said they want to do at least one open call a year, so the next one will very likely be under the 4th Ed ruleset, but I'm okay with that too.
Although there's no guarantee Paizo will switch to 4th Ed, I think it's pretty likely. Still, Vista is not exploding like Microsoft thought it would, so there's precedent for industry leaders' newest and "greatest" not catching on like they think it will. We'll see.

Some friends and I once rented a "porn bloopers" tape, and were quite disappointed when it was really stuff that just hit the cutting room floor, usually the director stepping into the shot to give "direction" or holler at an "actress." there was no funny at all, which was what we were hoping for.
Apparantly porn people can be surprisingly dry and humorless.

Was that the one hosted by Ron Jeremy? That's where I learned the definition of queef. Ahh those innocent days before my perv vocabulary was multisyllabic.

I don't think so. Being hosted by the Hedgehog could only have improved this tape. It was very boring and disappointing.
