And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

erika, I hope your cat comes home safely very soon.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oh, erika, kitty~ma for you. Hope he comes home soon, and relieves your worry.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm feeling guilty. Like when you have a fight with your friend and he stalks off and won't call you back. I know it's not the same thing at all, but I feel like if I hadn't been so "Friggin' cat," yesterday, he'd be here right now. Only I could have unresolved shit with a cat.

No, erika, anyone who lives with a cat is likely to have unresolved shit with it.

Is there a chance one of your neighbors has semi-adopted him? I had a friend who was missing her cat and went to a neighbor's to ask if she'd seen him ... and there's the cat, lying on the couch (he wasn't allowed to do that at home), watching his favorite TV show (he watched what his person watched at home), having his favorite food prepared for him (he was on a low-fat diet at home). Hope Rocky's in a similar situation ... aside from your worry.

Whenever our cat gets peeved at us, she goes next door and hangs out. The gal there is very aware that her place is the runaway shelter until Miss. Kitty calms down. Unfortunately her husband is allergic. Ah, well.

He might have, I suppose, gotten upset, run in the wrong door, and turned on the charm with somebody.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Only I could have unresolved shit with a cat.

Not at all. I was all worried that my dog was acting out because I'm not paying enough attention to him when he got out of the yard yesterday, and that he wouldn't come home because he knew I was mad at him for running off. But he did.

Anyway, Rocky, go home and make up with erika!

Good luck with the engagement announcement, sj! These are the good in-laws-to-be?

We are, oddly enough, the kitty refuge of the neighborhood. The house next door has 6 cats, so whenever one of those wants a lower population density they come over here where there are only 2 in residence. The house on the other side has two cats but also two dogs that are not as my polite as mine, so they'll pop over for a bit of relief from the canine presence. They'll all be said when I move away and take my all-you-can-eat kitty buffet with me.

Rocky, come home!

Chemo reduces immunity because it reduces the number of white blood cells you have. There are a couple of drugs that help increase white blood cell count and some doctors give prophylactic antibiotics. They should be checking her levels.

Does anyone (and by anyone, I probably mean Steph) know anything about the off-label used of Avastin for macular degeneration? Googling indicates that it's been used frequently for that purpose over the last few years. They want to use it on my Mom. There are side effects, but they are found in its on-label use, which is many times the amount they inject in the eye.

My sister (who has a cat which isn't allowed outdoors) has neighbors who have either two sphynxes or a sphynx and a rex, which they allow out. The cats seemingly wander the neighborhood - no collars or tags - and every so often someone calls animal control. And, inevitably, when they come by the cats are over outside my sister's, which means she has to try to explain that "yes, I know those cats but they aren't MY cats; MY cat is the little calico sitting in the window hissing".
