Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

GC, I'd really want to know if those bags can be washed before I bought them for myself. YmachinewashiblerequirementsMV

The Stickley furniture is on sale at the local retailer. My DH will be at a Frisbee tournament all Sunday afternoon. Hmmmm...

Spot clean only with damp white cloth. Blot dry to remove excess water. Air dry.

But:

feature an interior water-resistant lining that is easy to wipe clean

Thoughts?

See, here's why I adore your evil brain. And your taste.

They're pretty!

I'd say it depends on your tolerance for having these things be disposable. I'd assume that they'd eventually be too icky to use if I couldn't throw them in the laundry. But I'm a spaz with getting the covers on things.

Also, I'd shy away from the red one, because I'd be scared it wasn't colorfast and it's almost certain to get damp/wet at some point. (See above, re spaz.)

GC, they're pretty, but yeah, I would worry that something white would get awfully stained. Because with me, it would. Because I'm a spaz like *that*.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Annabel humor:

Last night I was reading the new Temeraire book while Annabel was playing in the living room. At one point I laughed aloud, and she demanded an explanation. It wasn't the sort of humor that would make sense to anyone who isn't familiar with the book's world, much less to a 3-year-old, so after a moment's thought I said I was laughing because a dragon was acting like a pirate. (For anyone who's read or is about to read the book, it was Iskierka's first botched attempt at being capturing a naval prize.)

Annabel considered this for a moment, sat next to me on the couch, and followed the text with her finger as if she were reading it. She then gave a big fake laugh. When I asked her what was so funny, she said the dragon was walking the plank, and that was silly.

Remember what you said about being her role model, when she selects a book to take to class?

Role Model 2: Electric Readaloo.

(Seriously, I think that's super cool!) (Plus, a dragon walking the plank IS silly.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's cute, Susan. She's nautically educated.

At krav, the standard porn add-on involves your sister. I tried that, but I'd actually met the guy involved's sisters. It was too weird. Mostly I take an individual approach to each porning, but a "and that's how I like it" is pretty multi-purpose.

The key thing among the porny hard-hitters (and that's how I like it) is to embroil themselves in the porn before anyone else does. Tyros insult. We shock.
