Wash: I didn't think you were one for rituals and such. Mal: I'm not, but it'll keep the others busy for a while. No reason to concern them with what's to be done.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Could the toy boat thing be from toy boats in the bathtub? You're naked, you're wet, there's soap...

Trust my rage

Let me interrupt the fetish talk to say...

Happy Birthday, Matilda! I hope you and the rest of the family enjoy your day!

Mostly lurking...

Oh, in less momentous but still exciting to me news, we are getting a Wii!

Ooo! That's very exciting!

So, it took me 27 minutes to get to the hospital today. It usually takes me more like 50 minutes to an hour. Craziness! But, it meant I had time to go get a foofy coffee drink and yummy bagel.

Aha! On the desk which holds the broken computer which I don't use, under a pile of papers on the lesser-used side of the room, I just finally found my Sims 2 CD.

Now I have to wait until I get home to play! ...probably just as well I didn't bring my laptop in with me today.

Eh, okay.

My column in Comic Buyer's Guide ended, went to San Diego CC, my project at TokyoPop might be back on, Ms. Havisham is going back to school to get that graphic design certificate/degree so she will have the piece of paper to back up her ten years of experience, and so on...

Oh, and I started volunteering with a local Boy Scout troop.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Welcome back, CaBil! You've missed a smattering of births, deaths, the arrival and departure of various pets, lots of worrying about various Buffistas' parents (the universe really needs to back off on all our folks, please), a couple of cross-country moves, the billytea and wallybee wedding, and now you're just in time for sj and TCG's engagement. Also, Hec finished his book in time for it maybe possibly to be out by Christmas.

How about yourself and Ms. Havisham?

Also, from a bit upthread, Laga, those reunion questions are about 10,000 times better than the reunion questions for either my 10th or 15th (can no longer remember which), which consisted in their entirety, my hand to God, of:

1. How long have you been married?

2. How many children do you have?

Amazingly, this was not a sad little backwater ingrown-mountain-range high school with a 13% graduation rate, but a San Francisco school with an attached magnet performing arts school. Possibly the WTFiest questionnaire I've ever not filled out.

Matilda has no idea of birthdays as yet, but she is extremely cheerful this morning. Hec has been singing happy nonsense songs to her and she's been bouncing and warbling most adorably (such a relief, because otherwise she's grinding her teeth, possibly the most unpleasant sound possible at 7:00 in the uncaffeinated morning).

Off to the shower now!
