Liese that was such a cool thing you did there.
Susan I hope you asked, "is there anyone else I can talk to?" before you stalked off. I sometimes catch my staff denying stupid stuff to the guests just because they didn't know they had the power to bend the rules in certain situations.
Congratulations, sj and TCG! I'm so happy for you both! And I don't think there's such a thing as "overly schmoopy" when you just got engaged and had a romantic ride in a tow truck. And the ring sounds both lovely and meaningful.
Congratulations also to Daisy on the sweet raise.
And figure-it-out~ma to Suzi. I hope the tests find something that is easy to fix, dammit.
This was a fun day to come home and catch up on, I tell you what. I have nothing to add to the kink talk, I am the most vanilla-est I have ever been, at present.
Incidentally, there's a comic, Scary-Go-Round, that has a character named "The Boy", so of course whenever he appears I think of Teppy and her Boy.
Borscht without beets does not seem right to me at all. Though I see jars of "Borscht (with beets)" for sale on occasion, so maybe it's not so wrong to some people. And, now that I think of it, my MiL's borscht is basically a clear beet flavored broth with no chunks of anything. Which I politely eat when she serves it, but in my heart I know it's not right.
::putting jarred beets on the list::
I have to fill out my "where are they now" thing for my high school reunion. I hated hated hated high school. Is it OK if I make up a bunch of snarky shit, should I tell the honest horrid truth, or is it classier to make it sound like I had fun?
Last year I forewent my 10th year reunion. I had little to anything to say to them then and figure pretending to be interested in catching up to the same people would require more effort than I am willing to put forth. When I am rich and famous I will go and gloat. Until that time...
Eh Laga you must find the fine line between the two. And then you must cut down the tallest tree in the forest with... a herring! < /python >
1) What was your favorite memory at GSHS?
The first one that comes to mind is making out with Angel and Dave (my future ex husband) in the photo lab.
2) What was your most embarassing moment?
That would be when the photography teacher walked in on us.
3) What 80s song reminds you of high school and why?
"I'll Melt With You" because it was rejected as prom theme on the grounds that "Making love to you" was too risque.
4) What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Not having children.
"I'll Melt With You" because it was rejected as prom theme on the grounds that "Making love to you" was too risque.
wasn't that song recently used in a sandwich commercial? Mmk I'm off to bed...
Edit: lol #4... lovely
I think it's a taco bell commercial actually. For the cheesy beefy melt. mmmmmmm.
Thankfully there are only four questions.
