[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's funny - we have received a lot of furnishings and what not from people clearing out their houses, but we have NONE of the stupid shit. Like plates and bath towels.

Luckily, Kohl's is having their HUGE home clearance this weekend.

Hash brown:

Damn I hate that I need to leave this job. My boss is so freaking cool. I have to go to New Orleans at the end of the month to train my counterpart there. Boss switched it to Thurs and Fri instead of Tues and Wed. and when I told her that if the flight was cheaper with a Saturday stay, I'd like to fly out Sunday and spend the weekend with my cousin and the cherub. Her email back? She'd already thought I'd like to see my family and scheduled it that way.

We're going to go with the Victorian. We might actually end up getting "sweat equity" in the form of a security deposit. Meaning, Joe and I do a lot of the work removing the wallpaper and painting and patching in exchange for Boss paying our security deposit.

Because books.

Yay, Miracleborns! That's an awesome birthday present.

I had a black eye once when the freezer door decided to attack. I always thought it looked shifty.

It's way variable, Sean. My black eyes show up in an hour or two, but for some people it takes a night.

Thanks, ita.

Sean, is it possible that S has a bite of some kind and not a bruise? The eye is so tender it would blow up like a bruise.

I suppose. I don't know. It sure looks like she got popped in the eye. She's not showing any other signs of a concussion. I don't know.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

We're going to go with the Victorian.

Oh, hooray! And yum! (I'm a sucker for old places).
