Up until the punching, it was a real nice party.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, Hec. That's so hard. For everyone involved. Good thoughts to all of you.

Vortex, it really is gorgeous today. I'm just finally coming in!

Our wings are not tired

Hey folks. I found five minutes to come up for air. Halloween Horror Nights is proceeding along.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Best wishes for EM's recovery from her breakdown.

Alpha-bits.

I just polished off a jar of "Choceur Chocolate Hazelnut Spread". As we bought it at Aldi's on Friday, I have come to the conclusion that it is not as good as Nutella, on the grounds that the real stuff usually lasts less than a day. Yup, only half as good.

So if you have the opportunity to shop at Aldi's, I recommend you buy some. And some bananas to eat with it.

X-posty.

Halloween Horror Nights is proceeding along.

I was browsing through some other sites and came across an ad for that, and I went, "I know the guy designing that!" I felt cool by association.

Ok. How does this look: [link]

(It's going to be in B&W, so don't pay attention to the colors)

(Apparently it's so bad, it killed the thread!)

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

One of the ways I caught /blocked the lazy demon - was to set only one goal per day, which is esp. important when you have a large block of time. This way you make sure that the important thing gets done -and doesn't get sidetracked by all the other things that might happen along the way. and some how I accomplish more that way. It was not laziness that was getting in the way of accomplishing things, but just the amount of stuff out there that could be or needed to be done.

Heh. I decided one of my problems was that I'd gotten out of the habit of making lists, so I sat down this morning and made a list of everything I hoped to get done this week. Today's list is kind of, well, long. As in, 14 items. Of course, nearly half of them are simple things like send out emails that should take me about 5 minutes but might be forgotten if I didn't write them down. And anything I don't get to I'll just shift forward to later in the week.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Poor EM. I hope she comes through this okay.

I like the pick one thing method beth uses for getting stuff done. It can be hard, sometimes, to decide what the one important thing for the day is, but it saves a lot of self-recrimination for all the other things that inevitably don't get done because there is always too much to do

My motivation is officially gone. Who stole it? I was doing so well there for a while.
