Our wings are not tired

I just checked a tracking number and DHL tried to deliver a package at 8:30 this morning. Dammit. Hopefully they will try again at the end of their route.

The status is NOT quo.

I would call DHL and ask them to re-attempt and then call Joe and let him know. He must not have heard the doorbell.

FedEX also tried to deliver. I'm gonna call Joe and have him pull the door tags and call.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I don't know; that list of words that are no longer hyphenated are words that I've never seen hyphenated in the past. I think those were strictly British constructions.

Yeah, I noticed when I saw a list of the differences between the English and American versions of Harry Potter that a good number of the "changes" were simply the loss of a hyphen.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Joe was awakened by the doorbell for one of them. He is getting the sticker and calling to try to have it rescheduled. The sticker says the next attempt will be on Monday.

I have directed him to call and try to reschedule for later today.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Oh yes, I was assuming the Reuters name would connote the britishness of the story.

Reuters is British?

....I am a crappy, crappy journalism major. I seriously didn't know that.

move out and draw fire

We fought a revolution to not have to use those hyphens!

Raq - I would have told her it was dinner. And then left before she processed it.

BRILLIANT!!!

Stephanie, congrats on a healthy ultrasound! I have to say that I mostly got photos of Mal's head, spine, and hand (I love the little hand picture), but the initial image, up on a huge plasma monitor where I could see it, was very clearly of a boy-thing. The doctor was like, "I, um, hope you wanted to know the sex."

~ma to your ma, Trudy. That's very scary.

I love our twisted Buffista phone tree. I just talked to Joe too.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

When I was pregnant with CJ, I had a bunch of ultrasounds cause he was breech. But not a single one showed anything confirming his gender. He was very modest, in utero. Actually, he is still pretty modest.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

~ma to your moms, Trudes. Also to you and family.

Happy b-day to smonster!

Today is better than yesterday. I am finished with my paper, caught up on a few of my work thingies, and having lunch with some school friends. No change in GF's dad, which is okay, all things considered. May the weekend be totally and completely boring and uneventful.
