Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Nice hair, vw!

Cash, how are you (and O, and the rest of your fam) doing today?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Much ~ma for GC, gf & gf's dad.

That's really cool, Ginger. Both that that system exists and that you've achieved fireworks.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We're fine, juliana. Thank you for asking. I'm still sort of emotionally fragile about the whole thing but I'm doing much better. I called the school and told them I was keeping Owen home on Friday. I think I need a break from worrying about it.

GC, much ~ma for gf's dad.

I want REAL fireworks when I break my next fitness goal, which is running a 5K with DH.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

vw, that is a great cut n color! I think it's very sugar.

Sugar GloomCookie, much comfort to you and GF('s family).

Ginger, I think electronic fireworks is an excellent motivator! Congratulations!

I want spicy Thai soup, but will have to settle for Chinese. Woe.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

~ma for Tommyrot and mom, lotsa ~ma for GC and her GF's whole family.

A dash of feet~ma for Bonny.

And a whole heaping spoonful of sugar from CuteOverload for everyone: a golden retriever teaching a tiny, tiny kitten about sunbeams [link]

The wide universe is the ocean I travel, and the earth is my blue boat home

Ooh, pretty hair, vw!

Sigh. Can someone please find my motivation? This was going to be the week I stuck to WW, now that I have my nice shiny plan of hiking Olympic Nat'l Park once I'm in shape. It was also supposed to be the week I got in the shower by 6:30 every day so I could catch the 7:40 bus and not have to park in the isolated overflow lot at my park & ride. None of those things have happened. Why is change so hard?

Running a 5K deserves fireworks. And a break from worrying is an excellent idea. I don't think i've actually typed out my well-wishes, Cashmere, but I'm thinking of you and Owen often.

Oh, and ION, I have vacation pics!

Our B&B. Yes, each "room" is a caboose.

Our caboose had a Western theme

Pacific!

More Pacific

Rain forest

I couldn't help thinking of Middle-Earth and Narnia

Thrive to spite them

Well I just acted totally unprofessionally today. I ended up bursting into tears -- of course now I'm getting cramps so I'm pretty sure most of my meltdown was female related.

But, I ended up getting frustrated iwth my Big Boss again and we ended up in a meeting with my co worker to deal with my communication issues. It was actually kind of productive because I can see where I was making some mistakes, but still at the end there was a minor miscommunication.

Also Big Boss spelled out that one of the reason she goes into extreme detail is that she thought I wanted it. She's seen that I'm up to date on current events and have a vast knowledge so she's been trying to give me more knowledge.

Only, instead of seeing it like that I took it more as...well she thinks I don't get things.

Librarian Warlord

((Cash)) You're a wonderful mom, and from where I sit Owen is an excellent kid.

My DH and I just signed the agreement to buy a house, contingent on the inspection. Eeep!
