not your mom's socks.

Aaarrrgh - have mercy on the poor lass that be selling her house and is still slightly hopeful but rapidly growing afeared and desperate, will ye? we don't all mean to be scurrilous. (and some of us are desperate for a little scally for our wag so we can stop swabbing the poop deck so much).

Stephanie - I hope there is a good solution for you. This may sound extremely random, or bring on the hysterical laughter, but is there a university somewhere reltaively close? With a womens' studies group (I'm talking literary, socio, health - anything)? If there's something even remotely related, maybe a cold call to that type of group could shake loose some information that isn't common knowledge elsewhere.

man, I need to sweep.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Ahoy mateys! Me da is bein released from the Jolly Hospital on Monday fer outpatient rehab just in time for me visit.

I'm not sure if I'll get to see his rehab after all, which bums me a little. One for the curiosity value, and one for knowing what I should do to work on him at home. I also thought they would not release him until the end of October, when the infection will be hopefully fully eradicated. He had an MRI this month, and it still shows some infection but a lot of improvement.

Punishingly Intricate

that's great news, d! although I'm sorry you won't get to see his rehab.

I need some kind of juice that will help me concentrate! I'm so distracted.

Great news d.

In odd sighting news - just saw a gal in a nice tweed business suit, black turtleneck, and fishnet stockings with very conservative shoes. wtf?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Fishnets are continuing to become more mainstream, I guess.

It's a way to be a rebel but still look put together? Much like Booth and his socks/belt buckles?

Wouldn't concentration juice be the best?

Everything else was SO conservative. I mean, I've worn fishnets to work before, so that is not the boggle. No hose would have fit the outfit more than fishnets.

I'm getting pretty tired about sharing one phone with two other teachers. Actually, I don't mind the sharing -- I never use it -- I mind it being in my room. I get calls for them during class. And I can't count on having alone time. Dammit, get off the phone!
