[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Gronk. Next semester, someone remind me that if I've got a day where I'm teaching two classes and taking a two-hour class on the other side of the city, it's not a good day to also schedule my office hours.

I'm teaching regular calculus this semester, the one for engineering and science majors. SO much better than business calc, which is what I've taught the past four semesters. (I think that the major problem with business calc is that most of the students there really don't have the pre-calc background they need, so they spend the class lost because they can't follow the algebra.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What kind of calculus to business majors need?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

woe to me. ugg. headache returneth, yet no phone call. Coincidence? Ya. Probably just as much so, these headaches seem to roll around when rain is coming. Thankfully in LA, its a rarity. Not that I get them every time it rains, but it seems when I get them, it's raining. I'm hesitant to use this word, as I know it's not fully accurate, but I think they are migraine-esque. Not fully debilitating, but definitely a huge sensitivity to light. The best part was, it started kicking in during seminar on VectorWorks CAD software. Oy vey, I am *NOT* a visual person, and we were doing 3-d rendering. Did not help the brain ow.

Tomorrow should be fun. Early AM battling LA traffic to attend a free seminar on wireless mics. Then battle thru LA afternoon traffic to South Orange Co to do another 4 hour session of VectorWorks.

SuziQ how'd the doctor referal go? Did I miss it? JZ, did you get any takers on assist with icon-o-cute? ND, did the day get anymore fun?

OK, 1500mg of Tylenol is finally kicking in. I think I'm off to bed.

ND, did the day get anymore fun?

My sleep debt finally caught up with me. I was out cold by 9 PM, and I just woke up.

Omnis, sensitivity to light is a biggie--I think the basic migraine assessment only needs three yesses--to which you already have one. Other factors include sensitivity to sound, nausea, unilateral pain...and a bunch of other shit.

If you get it diagnosed for sure they can give you specific medication which can work faster and better than Tylenol.

Happy birthday, erika!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Vortex- that Mariott is right by the University of Illinois at Chicago and Rush Presbyterian St Luke's medical center. If you don't have business at either of those places it's not the best of neighborhoods.

It is pretty easy to get to downtown and stuff from, though. Short cab right or a few stops on the blue line.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aims, if you're around, will Joe have his cell tomorrow? Same number? I'm picking him up after work, so if you could send me his flight info, that would rock. And he does he have my cell?

He will/does have his cell. It is the same number. I believe he does have your number. I will email you his flight info right after I'm done posting this.

Oh, and I will warn you both that chez NoiseT is doing its best trashy trailer park impression at the moment.

Oooh! I would have liked to see that.

Joe's all packed and is probably showering and getting Em dressed to go. We talked to her last night and this morning about Daddy going away for a few days. Her response was, "Me go Calforda! Me go airpane! Daddy stay here."

About broke Joe's heart.

About broke Joe's heart.

He's just the first man whose heart she'll break, but he's the only one she's going to keep coming back to.

How's the new place shaping up, Aimee?
