But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

So you're saying that I can quit my job and lead a life of leisure?

Tea:

Hey - is there anything in particular Joe needs to bring besides lawyers, guns, and money?
The cloning machine, it seems.

Our wings are not tired

If this goes the way it is looking, things could be very good.

My life of leisure killed the thread ded. Damn.

So...subject change (and yes, I'm procrastinating grading)! Since MM is arriving at chez NoiseT tomorrow, I went grocery shopping yesterday. The fridge is no longer bare, I'm happy to report. I should be able to keep MM from withering away.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's gonna be a very hard 11 days. I'm glad he's coming out there and doing work he really loves, but man - it's gonna suck on this end for so many reasons.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I just heard from my friend K. She sounds like her old ever optomistic self, but it looks like baby J coming home in October is very unrealistic at this point. His lungs aren't functioning yet. She's back at work (school teacher) so that she can take time out when he can come home, but it sounds like she is majorly stressed despite her cheerful voice.

I'm trying to find my motivation for using that trial day at the gym today. I know it was around here somewhere...

I agree.

Who wants to come out to Michigan for 11 days and run herd on a recalcitrant 2 3/4 year-old and her equally recalcitrant (though she does cook a fine meal) mother?
