Jayne: Anybody remember her comin' at me with a butcher's knife? Wash: Wacky fun.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am very proud of you.

I am pretty certain, now that I think about it, that I left a load of laundry in the dryer when I left today. Ah, the joys of surprise laundry once I get around to the next round of laundry...

Heh. I'm kind of proud of me too. Of course, I was really running out of clothes, so it's a good thing.

When I had my own w/d, I loved that game!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

It's bad enough that I've got to find and fix the paper jam before I can use the copier but what I finally pulled out of there was stuff my boss was copying for her SCA event this weekend. She keeps inviting me to these things. There are three of us on the management team. Someone needs to open and someone needs to close. That means if one of us is attending an event, the other two are working. Maybe she's just being polite. Did I mention I'm sick and therefore crabby? Plus the sudafed is helping my stuffy nose but not so much with the stuffy brain.

I only got like, 5 hours sleep Thursday night (because stupidly, I agreed to meet a friend for breakfast). So last night I was hanging out with K and some of her friends, and had one beer, and then was like "OK, bedtime!" and was asleep in bed by 9:30. Crazy.

Now I got rid of a whole garbage bag of clothes, and am off to the outlet mall to try to replace them! (Mwahahahhah!)

Pet Peeve: My name is RIGHT THERE in both the e-mail address AND the signature. There is no reason for you to have TWO errors in the spelling of my name. Consistently. And it's not like my name has *that* many common spellings!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

It is hitting the point where the travel restrictions are going to start having an impact on commerce.

Starting? I'm sure that U.S. businesses that were able to do so have permanently reduced air travel in response to kabuki security. Of course Visa restrictions and the stuff people may be put through have really affected international travel. I work with a number of international non-profits that won't schedule conferences in the U.S. any more. Too damn likely that at least one speaker won't be allowed into the U.S.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My sister works for a small German company, and the owner and CEO recently had to skip a conference at which he'd been invited to lecture because of sudden Visa restrictions. He's owned a HOUSE here for ten years. He lives here half the year! Ridiculous.

I was just grousing about this the other day! Dude, it's RIGHT THERE.
