Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Aims. I'm sorry, hon. But, it's not you. I'm sorry you feel that way.

Home from haircut. Picture: [link] Enjoy it, Hec, 'cause I've decided to actively work on growing out my hair, and my new girl is gonna help me. But, maybe don't comment on the picture. Or me. The haircut is great, but me, not so great. When did I get so fat and zitty?

Not looking for hairpats. I guess I just needed a good reason to get back to eating right and exercising, and I don't know what I'm gonna do about that face. It hasn't been this bad in a LONG time.

ETA: Also, my glasses need to be adjusted. They look ridiculous!

Librarian Warlord

It's okay about the house. We may end up making a bid if we don't find anything else, but we're waiting to see if anything comes up on the market we like better. Truly a diamond shoes problem.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aw, Aims! I'm sorry you're having a crappy day! But, dude, you're a CFO. That is way cool, and you are not rubbish. You may feel in over your head, but you know how to swim.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Her other scripted programming includes Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and Ugly Betty.

Thirding the endorsements of Ugly Betty. A good comic soap opera (as oppposed to a comedy).

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

The Boy found my first grey hair a little while ago. No more as of yet, but it was clearly a scout.

I found my first one ten years ago, but it's only recently gotten enough company that I look like I'm going gray. And even then I didn't really notice until I saw some pictures from our recent vacation--for some reason most of the gray isn't in the parts of my hair I see whenever I'm staring directly into a mirror. Anyway, those pictures decided me that my next cut will be a cut-and-color despite the fact I'm trying to be all frugal. Only 36! And I'm used to looking younger than my calendar age!

The status is NOT quo.

Aims, not rubbish. It's difficult learning new software and new job stuff, and you've done really well. Everyone misses things sometimes.

House~ma to Sparky & DH!

Diagnosis~ma to Suzi.

ETA: Can't check pictures at work; not ignoring you, bug!

Punishingly Intricate

I found my first grey hair when I was 5! Then I didn't get anymore until ??? maybe my late 20s? And I didn't have many after that until the last couple of years. I'm not sure how many though because:

Hair != Natural Color

I'm lucky as far as grey and my genes go though. I have two aunts who were completely grey by their mid-20s.

Always Anti-fascist!

In Homicide fandom, "The Book" refers to "A Year On The Killing Streets" which makes skimming the Biblical discussion trippy. "That's the problem with this job. It's got nothing to do with life."

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Kojo is one of the things I miss most about living DC. And not just because of the voice.

Yeah, I love his show. Sometimes I listen live at lunch. Or you can listen to the archives here [link]
