Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Host ,'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

I'm sad because I need a haircut, and have no one in town---I've been going to Aimee and Kristin's lady, but i'm not going back to LA any time soon...but I don't know anyone in DC I trust!

Well if you want to travel up here I have a CRAZY!GENIUS hairdresser. She is crazy though. But a hair genius!!!

I need to call her so I can get my hair did before I have 2 weddings the first weekend in Oct. I'm like 1/2 gray now! (I'm going to think of it as silver so I can pretend I left it on purpose to match my silver converse i'm wearing at our show Saturday so I don't freak out about not having had my hair done for the event.)

I would totally travel to Baltimore for a haircut from a crazy genius!! I have to go up there at some point anyway, to go to Sugar (I have a gift cert). Email me details? (mearagirl, yahoo)

The Boy found my first grey hair a little while ago. No more as of yet, but it was clearly a scout.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Kristin, I'm sorry the raise wasn't higher.

So I got a response from "Kelly Kapoor"! She seems nice. It's clear from her responses that she actually read my e-mail, which is a good start. Also, she loves her DVR, which is an even better start (unfortunately, the only show we appear to have in common is Entourage ). I replied, and I guess we continue to converse and see if any real clicking happens.

It's actually been a really hard year, when you stop and do the math. Eliot would cry, too, if it didn't take him seventy minutes of therapy, two cocktails, and a Sondheim medley before he can experience a human emotion through the haze of his PTSD.

Ah, but I bet you can covert her to at least *some* of your shows.

Connie, that link doesn't work for me.

Absolutely. Her other scripted programming includes Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and Ugly Betty.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am happy to say that I am getting my hair cut and colored today. I made the appointment last week, but have clearly tapped into the glorious hivemind since so many of us are doing hair stuff lately. We are having brunch with the in-laws on SUnday, who are coming down to see our new house and I wanted to look stylin'.
