Morning!
My father got a last-minute flight deal for the weekend, so I'm going to have the house to myself! Which, given that I need a lot of alone time and he's only been gone overnight once since I got here, is nice. Except I'll have to make my own food for a while. Oh, woe.
I love my father, you understand. I just have large alone-needs.
Emily - I understand that feeling. I never get alone time in my own house.
vw - talking out your day...sounds normal in here. Today I'm working from home, then I see my primary care doc at 10:30. This is his last chance to be my doc - he has frustrated me in the past and whatever is happening with me right now is so hard to describe that if he is in anyway condescending, I'm out. Then I work from home until my iron treatment. Then more working from home. Somewhere in there I need to clean house too.
I can't find pictures of my last hair cut. Hmmm...maybe I didn't take any. Poor Hec must have cried that day.
Hey, Emily! Yay for alone time!
So, I'm trying to find a picture of my hair...I'm going through all these pictures from early this summer, and my SIL looks big and pregnant and uncomfortable there. I can only imagine how the poor thing feels right now. She's got five weeks left, but I hope she goes early. Nothing fits. She's terribly uncomfortable, and apparently, the baby is huge.
When we were over in Boston a few weeks ago my SIL was four and a half months. And my beer belly was bigger than hers. She hasn't gotten any bigger in the interim either. Although everyone in the family said she was much chubbier than normal. Which I guess will happen when you have to drop your twenty mile runs to fifteen miles.
The last ultra-sound they had, the baby measured at over 5 pounds, and that was two or three weeks ago. The doctor said that if she goes to term, she's gonna deliver a 10 pound baby. Poor dear!
Oh, that reminds me: my weight is now back to what it was when I returned to Australia from Philly. One day before my birthday!
The doctor said that if she goes to term, she's gonna deliver a 10 pound baby. Poor dear!
Yikes!
If it makes her feel better, you can tell her about my aunt who had five boys, not a one of whom was under 11lbs.
She had a hysterectomy after the fifth, understandably.
That reminds me that my neighbor two doors down was scheduled to be induced yesterday. I hope everything went well! I saw her last Sunday and she was GINORMOUS.
Skippity...
The alarm went off too early. The cats got out and then didn't come in until the very last second before I needed to leave. And yet, somehow, I made it to school in 35 minutes. I'm boggled.
I'm also really glad it's Friday.
