I like pancakes 'cause they're stackable. Ooo, and waffles 'cause you can put things in the little holes if you wanted to.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Oh, Em, that sounds so icky!

Not to mention geometrically unfeasible.

That's the sort of thing I'd have to be sure not to make eye-contact with anyone at in case I started giggling and couldn't stop.

[Agreement.]

So, I met with my thesis adviser yesterday. We decided that since I've got such a good head start on my project, we're going to try to get it done this semester, so next semester I can concentrate on other things, while still getting three credits for the thesis. An easy semester! I'm so excited! Right after my trip to St. Thomas! It's all so exciting!

That will be a relief, I'd think.

Yeah, it really would. It would also mean I could take four classes, instead of three, if I wanted. But, really? I'm thinking of just taking the three and kind of coasting through the semester.

Poptarts...

So, I'm supposed to put together a list of questions for a first meeting with a tutoring student in the writing program at school for my seminar today. Teachers, especially, how does this look to you?

1. What does your semester schedule look like? How many classes are you taking? Do you work? (Does this feel balanced and doable?)

2. If you were to follow yourself around with a pad of paper and jot down every time you did some type of writing (any type of writing!), what would you find? What kind of writing do you do most often?Let’s make a list… Does that surprise you?

3. How do you feel about writing? What do you think are your trouble areas? Is that why you’ve come to see me?

4. What do you hope to gain from these tutoring sessions?

5. Do you have a writing process that you go through? If so, could you describe it to me?

6. What is the hardest part of writing for you?

7. What do you think constitutes good writing? What kind of writing do you enjoy reading?

8. Do you have any questions for me about tutoring or my role?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

9. Astronaut or Caveman?
