So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Poor Vortex! Good luck, you. That is my *least* favorite part of moving...dealing with all the shit that you don't want to deal with at the end.

Happy Birthday, Sunil!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Oh, wait, no squirrels. Bugger

VA's got ton's gimme an address... (note to self... poke air holes)

I'd like to think Australia's learned its lesson about highly annoying rodents from other continents.

Happy birthday, P-C! At the least, I hope you have entertaining e-mail exchanges with smart Indian women who think this whole concept is insane but who want their mothers to shut up already.

Poor Vortex. I have no least favorite part of moving. It's all equally dreadful, frustrating, exhausting and mysteriously unending.

I must stop typing and get off to the Y.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Good morning! Happy birthday P-C! I'm in a better mood, due to the sun being out and having dragged my ass to fencing last night. Which was fun and got me all exercise-y and adreneline-y and focused me on stuff that was not overwhelming and dispairing.

Fencing: it's good for ya! (although I have to be careful with over-lunging, 'cause my knee's a little achey)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

focused me on stuff that was not overwhelming and dispairing

I think the US Fencing Association just found its new ad campaign.

Oh, Nora! Glad to hear that!

Trust my rage

So, Vortex is in her new house! I hope everything settles into its proper place quickly.

P-C, Happy Birthday! Is this PFWife the accountant? I hope she's cool and funny and interesting.

Yay, Nora! I went to yoga last night and it felt great. Not so great: on the train ride home my car was invaded by a post-practice high school football team. Conclusion: Teen-age boys are very stinky. I moved to another car.

On Monday I am going to sign up for next year's Philly Triathlon.

What distance, d? What does the water portion look like? I always think about doing another one, but for some reason, every year I keep getting older and lazier.

Situation ~ma, omnis! Have you been to Houston? It's, um. . . not Austin.

Everyone wave and send a little dermatology ~ma to Sox! She is reading but sans password to log in.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Oof. Health(ier) Skin Ma, Sox! Back in Baltimore for procedures, then?

Sparky, it's a sprint distance. The water portion is in the Schuylkill River, which my friend said last year was clean (and much more fun than the lake she did for her second one that was full of algae). Here's the link for the race organizers [link] You'll have to click on the Philly icon to get to last year's race info. Next year the date will be July 6. It's Women Only, which appeals to me.

P-C, I hope your prospective wife is fun and understands the real you. Did you send her your version of your bio sheet? Anyway, best of luck to you.

Vortex, moving-ma to you. I know it's an unfun chore. But on the plus side you won't need to move again for a while because House Of Your Own!

I finally got some sleep and now I am awake and am watching Angel's You're Welcome with Cordy and her cleavage. Next up is Smile Time.
