And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Except arrange a special embroidered pillow for Kristen Bell.

That was a good time.

And have her recognize you.

I don't think she really recognized me; I think she was just playing along since Rob made me sound cool and important.

Half-marathon!

Our wings are not tired

Drew! Wait, did you tell me before that you'd worked on Monsters, Inc., and I just forgot?

I have no idea. I did some of the pick-up recording sessions with Billy Crystal and Jon Goodman. The studio I worked with for a couple of years did stuff like that so I ended up working a bit on a bunch of movies. I did Atlantis, Monsters, Inc, Lilo & Stich, Home on the Range, Treasure Planet, and I'm sure some other Disney stuff. I also did dialog recording and ADR for a bunch of Warner Bros stuff like Batman Beyond, Detentions, Justice League...um, I'm sure others I can't remember. The final bit of that place was the heretical. I worked on adding the english language translations to a bunch of Anime like Ruroni Kenshin, Magic Knight Rayearth, Arc The Lad, Apocalypse Zero...and others.

In other news.

MY DIABLO SOUND T-SHIRTS AND JACKETS JUST ARRIVED!

Ahem.

I might be a bit over excited about this.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Hey I get excited when the toner arrives.

The status is NOT quo.

Other people's coolness is always more enviable than your own.

Very true. I'm always blown away by what the people close to me have done and often feel like my own coolness just doesn't measure up.

Dating Drew probably does not help this situation.

"Today I rode Space Mountain 50 times and redesigned the lift sound!"
"I need to make sure I watch all of the horror movies in existence before I design the media for Halloween at Universal."
"I'll be spending a month at sea on the Disney Wonder while I design their new musical."
"I worked on Monsters Inc. and The Emperor's Groove. Oh, and David Spade really is as much of a jerk as he appears to be."

He's not even bragging. It's just what he does for a living. Not always glamorous, but definitely cooler than my daily grind.

Case in point.

And YAY new t-shirts and jackets!

I just cleared my throat and the guest on the other side of the solid glass partition said, "I don't want to catch a cold." Dude, the germs are not going to travel through the microphone and out the speaker.

Good point. The gluegun is my friend!

This is one of the few times I agree with that sentiment.

Now I'm picturing Jilli with a gluegun. And black glitter. And possibly something explosive.

... you people have been hiding webcams in my house again, haven't you? If there is footage of Clovis and I dancing around to Astro Zombies, I want a copy. IJS.

This is beginning to sound like the Halloween Horror Nights installation.
