[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey Jilli, guess what?

I think I've mentioned that one of the parents of Emmett's teammates works at Pixar. I was talking to Bob at the last tournament and he worked on Nightmare Before Christmas!

How cool is that? He got to keep a few Jack figures.

This all came out because we spotted somebody at the game with a Jack Skellington tat.

Oooh, that lucky lucky man. That had to of been one of the coolest movies to work on, if insanely difficult and fiddly.

Exactly so. Though he worked in storyboarding so he wasn't doing the stop-motion. Still, he said it was awesome going to the different sets each day. Just to have that world actually created and physical.

I guess I should also mention to Aimee that he worked on Monsters, Inc. as well.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I guess I should also mention to Aimee that he worked on Monsters, Inc. as well.

Hee. That's awesome.

(Though, to be fair, I've never seen all of Monster's Inc.)

screams faintly

Oooh, maybe I should watch that tonight, to put me in a better mood. My parents are convinced that someone from Disney used a time machine to go observe me as a kidling so they could create the characters of Boo and Lilo.

What is your damage?!?!

The cool thing about hanging out with Bob is I get to say things like, "Bob, you should totally use Arlo (Emmett's teammate) as a model for a cartoon mouse." And he'll say, "Hmmm, yeah, he'd really be perfect for that."
