Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Sox, here's the text:

Hope you didn't fall in love or get married tonight.

re: the fundraiser. From someone I had not at that point met. It was a very WTF?!?!? moment for me.

Glad you were able to see the exhibit. Sorry your weekend plans didn't go quite as well as you had hoped. I probably won't have much visiting time until after I come back from seeing my parents.

of course - and if we don't see you before, have a great, safe trip.

yah - I would have gone 'glarg' over a random text like that too. so he was boring? or was that just the post-surgery meds? or was the text the post-surgery meds? (see? I am wicked and mean. just like I promised)

Honestly? Don't know. I might just be callous and strange.

Yup, I'm going to take the train. I still have a little bit of time (leaving 9/25) but not much time to socialize. Although I might not be correct in that. Depends on how much I accomplish between now and then.

I'm watching Angel and drinking tea. Also have a bit of a headache, which does not thrill me.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

For my funeral, I expect veiling, black-edged hankies, armbands, and a great wailing and gnashing of teeth.

And then likker. Lots and lots of likker. And people talking all about me. Cause I plan on being there.

Being from the Midwest, I would never attend a funeral in clothing that wasn't sober and darkish, unless I knew FOR SURE that the person/person's family was from a different culture and something different (say, white) was appropriate. And being from the Midwest, this has never personally happened to me.

But it's all about repect, I think. I would never diss an obviously grieving person for what they were wearing.

Ok. Maybe a little, but in my head and I would feel bad. If it were a REALLY awful thing, like a bikini top and tutu.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Nekkid veiled party at Erin's funeral!!!

Now I'm having images of someone hiring a stripper to pop out of the casket during visitation hours at the funeral home.
