Whatever happened to the still beating heart of a virgin? No one has any standards anymore.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Hello from a family reunion for my mother's 80th Birthday!

Andi and I are sitting here and I'm enjoying free wifi in the banquet room at the local AmericInn.

There was a big surprise in that almost all of her 20+ grandchildren made it here. Plus some great grandchildren in tow.

There are friends and assorted extended people as well.

It is interesting to say the least. Many of these people I have not seen in a decade.

For Buffistas: Yes, even my niece with the pit bull that took down the attacker is here. I'll get a pic of her for you.

More later, Silly string may be needing to be prevented.

Mother! Stop that!

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

I am browsing craigslist and trying to decide where to live. Seattlistas? I'm thinking Capitol Hill. But even then, I'm not sure where is the main drag and what are the boundaries of coolness vs. inconvenience, etc.

Seems like a lot of stuff is cheaper than DC, but a lot of stuff isn't. Hrm.

Plei is over here at the moment with Jilli. Their hivemind suggest west of Broadway (which is the main drag) and (maybe) south of Olive.

Send me links and I'll let you know what I know about specific spots.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Beth on Kim Possible I hadn't finished watching when I posted last night. I liked almost all of the finale, I even liked that Ron found his power, but I really wanted the last save the world moment to be Kim's moment, not Ron's.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I should probably be doing something more productive than reading fanfic and eating an apple and string cheese.

I have been working very hard today. I even worked when I should have been on break. I earned this slacking! (for once)

Huh. I just realized that I've been using the word "bemused" totally wrong. I was reading a book by a British author that used it to mean "confused," which wasn't what I thought it meant, so I figured it might be a British/American difference, and I looked it up in the dictionary, and it turns out that no, I was wrong, and I've been using the word wrong my entire life, and apparently this discovery has made me lose the ability to end a sentence
