You two are adorable together. Seriously.
They had Johnnie Walker Red...in the big bottle...and we went through a bunch of it last night. Today we are going on a picnic. Wheeeeeeeeeeee.
Mayor ,'Lies My Parents Told Me'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That sounds like a super stressful dream, Teppy! Dang!
I love those boots, but...no way.
I feel very annoyed and guilty--I was supposed to go SHOPPING this weekend with a friend (yay, finally knowing there will be money coming in!), but I have to go to a funeral on Sunday at 2pm, which kills our shopping plans. So I'm annoyed, and then I feel guilty taht I'm annoyed. (Obviously the funeral is not for someone I cared deeply about. I feel obliged to go, and I do want to pay my respects, but...)
I went to bed at about 8 last night. MAybe earlier. Man, I was tired. I slept for shit all week long. I had a couple of student-dreams (not dirty, gross; just schooly) and then last night, I fought some monsters, and I much prefer the monster fighting dreams.
I am Erin. In the 70's, in the sticks where I lived, a lot of people didn't know Erin could be a girl's name, so I got stuck in a lot of boy's gym classes. I don't have a dim; my mom occasionally calls me "Erie" but mostly I'm Erin.
My nickname to my friends is Captain, cause I'm...er, not bossy, of course, never THAT, but...assertive? Yes, assertive.
I had an acquaintance that tried to call me Er-Bear and I wanted to punch her in the face.
My sister is Patrica Susan, but she has always been Suzy. My grandpa called her SuzyQ the first time he saw her, and that was it. I called her SueBoo and then just Boo, but I am the only one allowed to call her Boo EVER. She is also...assertive. I'm so proud.
Now I'm thinking about all my friends dims/nicks:
NAthan = NateDogg
Fran = Francie, Frannie
Stef = Stef, but I can get away with Steffie
Joanna = Jo, always
Nikki = Nik or Noodle
Shane = Sizzler
Jen = Neezie because of her last name, since we have 3 Jen's in our circle
Everone else is pretty much their name. My girlfriends who are married are pretty evenly split among keep lastname/take husbands.
If I ever got married, I would keep my last name. I've known this ever since my dad wistfully asked me if I ever had a baby, if I could use my last name as a middle name, cause he had all daughters and his bro's son is kind of a loser.
My dad doesn't ask shit like this, nor does he EVER play the daughter-no-sons game. I would have kept my last name anyway, but this kinda adds an extra fillip to the notion.
Yay on your mom coming home, Hil. Going home early to help prep for the holidays sounds like a great way to help her out, IMHO. If she's anything like my mom, she'll be a lot more willing to accept help or do less when you're right there in the kitchen doing the work, or if you show up with some of the food ready to go.
what is orange juice and whisky?
A big glass of Nast.
Good news on your Mom, Hil. I hope her recovery goes quickly.
I have achieved haircut! And although I don't love it as much as my last haircut, it's still v. nice.
Also, I have been cast as The Ghost Of Christmas Present and as Mrs Fezziwig, whoever the hell she is, in A Christmas Carol.
Should be fun!
Go Fay! Apparantly Mrs. Fezziwig is married to Mr Fezziwig. (who'da thunk it?) Fezziwig fezziwig fezziwig... the word has lost all meaning.

Yay! Didn't you go back to the same stylist?
Yay also on the casting. I love hearing about your plays and productions.
Yay Fay! Mrs. Fezziwig is the wife of Scrooge's employer ... the one he's first apprenticed to. Her only real scene is at a Christmas party - she dances and laughs and is lots of fun.
Yay on the casting!
And I'm now earwormed with "Mr. Fezziwig's Annual Christmas Ball" from the musical version. Although I can't remember any of the words beyond the "Mr. Fezziwig's annual Christmas ball! Rat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat" part.
