Guess what I did during my lunch break today?
Donated blood.
Ok, I know that is not exciting for most folks, but I'm estatic. I've been so anemic that I had to stop donating for about 2 years. I'm back on IV iron again, cause my levels were dropping - but I passed the blood bank's iron test and got to donate. Yay me!!!
I can have glazed chicken or Swedish meatballs. I also have yogurt and grape-nuts.
I would go with the Swedish meatballs. Instead, I'm going for homemade casserole thingy, but the Swedish meatballs actually sounds better today.
Yeah, Suzi! Good for you both for not being anemic and for sharing your not!anemic self with those in need.
Yay for blood donors! Did you know that the sign language for "phlebotomist" is the same as that for "vampire"?
Am now on-campus (UCLA). I went out of my way to get to the bookstore only to find that my books are at the other end of campus. Annoying!
Suzi, you can haz nap now.
"Peach Cobbler, bourbon cream, hot caramel"
What a lovely phrase.
I have a new ergonomic mouse in my constant effort to keep things from going wrong in my right hand and arm. It seems like it may help, but at this point, the cursor keeps going off wildly in all directions.
I have my books and an hour to kill before class starts. I'm trying to decide whether to have (another) coffee.
I am back from the quilt store with 10 more beautiful yards of fabric.
I think I have a problem.
