I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

(It is also verra hot in MI - wear the linen, people. It breathes. It's comfy.)

And it doesn't start to look like ass until you've been wearing it at least ten minutes.

I declare Juliana's hair to be hotter than Manteca astroturf and give a big thumbs up on the silver low-tops.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

New juliana hair = goooood.

I like the silver Converse.

I ... have nothing else right now. Brain is mush, and I have a "hey, tell me about this editor job that is open on your team" meeting with someone this afternoon.

OMG I just bought the low-tops and had them shipped expedited for $$$ because I really NEED to have them for the show on the 15th. jeez, rock and roll is an expensive lifestyle.

Also, they are a 1/2 size larger then I'd normally get in Converse because they didn't have my size in the silver.

I'm having post-purchase trauma!!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Knowing that I ended up with something like 36 IB points (perhaps I misremember?). Which seems like it couldn't possibly be right (and the "UCAS points" I'm not even touching)

Four A levels was a lot, but not startlingly so, at my school. If you wanted to do three you were normal, and if you wanted two...well, I think you went to school somewhere else.

I cannot imagine doing five. Four was a solid load. We did S levels on top of that (I took 2) instead of more A. I shiver at the thought. I guess you could stagger it--I'm not sure how we handled Maths and Further Maths. We may have covered the Maths syllabus the first year, and Further the second. It was still half our courseload, though.

How do IBs work? They get you a year off university, don't they?

Vortex, obviously you don't need any ideas.
