Don't belong. Dangerous, like you. Can't be controlled. Can't be trusted. Everyone could just go on without me and not have to worry. People could be what they wanted to be. Could be with the people they wanted. Live simple. No secrets.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Hurm. An employee who says her doctor treated her for a 104 degree fever yesterday just walked in and turned in a note that says she is cleared to return to work tomorrow. Somehow I am skeptical of the authenticity of this note.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Laga, was it signed "Epstein's Mother"?

Always Anti-fascist!

I had a Disappointing College Experience for the most part. I thought it was really bad, but compared to what came after, I get nostalgic sometimes.

I'm getting the pig!

Both kids are officially at school and have started their respective "last firsts". Her last first day of High School and his last first day of Elementary School.

Aw. It's so hard to believe how fast they're growing up. Even though K-Bug is already so mature for her age. And so very snarky, too! She texted me today and I swear I smiled for about an hour. Senior! Wow.

Congrats on the job offer, meara!

Gloomcookie, I hope the mid-term was easy as pie and that the cranky subsided because of it.

So, I got a wonderful raise (27%!!) and a new position within my current company this afternoon. I'm absolutely giddy about the money, obviously, just nervous about going from a bi-monthly paycheck to a monthly paycheck. Especially this month when my usual paycheck on the 15th will be cut in half. Eep. I foresee charging groceries and gas on one of my credit cards in the near future.

Librarian Warlord

27%!!

Drinks are on Nicole! Congratulations!

I would like to point out that I moved east, from the west coast. (I'm contrary!) We'd love to live in Seattle, but it is the one city where there is a glut of my librarian specialty.

The status is NOT quo.

Holy crap, Nicole! That's awesome!

Totally! People just have to come to Denver for the drinks, though.

Phew. That was easier to get out of than I thought it would be.

Holy crap

My immediate reaction was exactly that. I was expecting maybe 12 - 15% but certainly not 27. Just need to get through September.

Any end in sight to the unbearable heat out in LA, Kristin?

Not Kristin but... when the heat breaks I will change my tagline.
