Tegan and Sara fans should be aware that they're the hosts/interviewees on Logo's NewNowNext video show this week. It should be on a few more times between now and Sunday evening.
Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hooray! I have caught up!
I don't know how I came to be so woefully behind, but no more!
~ma to Susan's mom and to all who needs it.
I am in the throes of new-car having. I have never bought a new car! It's a Nissan Versa and it's adorable.
Today I went to lunch at a place in Boston's South End, Tremont 647. It's Restaurant Week, where places serve 3-course prix fix menus for $20.07 for lunch and $30.07 for dinner. For lunch I had:
Duck Confit Quesadilla
local tomatoes, salsa verde, queso fresco
Buttermilk Fried Chicken
mashed sweet potatoes, chili spiced corn
Peach Cobbler
bourbon cream, hot caramel
Most of my entree is wrapped up and sitting in the fridge though.
I am sleepy and anxiously awaiting my upcoming Restaurant Week dinner that I'll be going to after work.

For the first time in my life, I am seriously considering stealing someone else's lunch out of the 'fridge.
Congrats on the new car having! (Does the new car have a name? Are you the naming-your-car type?)
Thanks for the info, Fred! I'll check it out for sure.
Nora's lunch sounds yummy.

oh yummmmm! I haven't had good fried chicken in ages.
We had restaurant week here last week and my friends and I went to a place where the menu was clearly designed by people who were very, very high--cheeseburger balls, mac&cheese&chocolate, fried s'mores. It was both hilarious and delicious.
For Jilli and anyone else who likes bats. (I do)

See, this is what I'm a-skeered of! I should camoflauge the leftover box.

Please don't do that. They might not have any money to buy something for themselves.
I just realized what I'm eating for breakfast is called "American Breakfast" in Japan.

Mooooooommmmmm, Laga has a low opinion of meeeeeeeeeeeeee!
(I meant sneaking up to Boston and taking Nora's. She doesn't need it anymore, she's had her fill and it sounded yummy! I would not actually steal someone's lunch.)
Sorry for the misinterpretation, Sparky1. It's a bit of a touchy subject for me: I've gone hungry more than once and my sister once got disciplined at work for sending an email to the office that read, "would the person who ate my sandwich please have the decency to give me some money so that I can buy some lunch?"
