Oooh, the LIBRARY! Of course! D'uh. We'll stop there today. Owen's not into the programs (we've tried several times). BUT they have a great play area the kids love and I can pick up a decent book while I'm there. I need to ask them to order paperdol's book while I'm there, too.
The bonus is the library is walking distance of GRAETER'S.

Not my library. ::grump::
The professor being interviewed at 11 by NPR wanted to know how many entities were being sanctioned under a particular executive order. This meant counting by hand from a memo of very small type and trying to figure out whether some Arabic names were of individuals or entities. I came up with 133, another librarian with 142. That's as close as we're going to get, I think.
Must share. Needs sound. Make sure to click the "saved the beach" button, and wait after for the last thing. Hysterical!

I am insanely jealous of my friends who just left for a two week vacation in Seattle and some nearby island and Victoria, BC. They were bringing SWEATERS with them.
Seriously, if I had had any clue about the weather, I would have moved out here yonks ago.
I picked a freaking hot day to decide to roast a chicken and bake cookies.
I bet Toto wished we had a video camera, though, so he could put my dancing-while-quilting on YouTube.

Hah! Just wait until you are there in December though. Coldest place anywhere. (Although you may be living in a place that has, like, insulation and a decent heating system. My old flat had neither.)
...
That actually made me feel no better about how hot and humid it is here.

My library is across the street from Graeters. IJS.
