I called Mom to get an update on how G'ma went moving into her assisted living yesterday and all went well. Aunt J made sure that G'ma was involved in the move and made up her bed (or at least helped) but she was in one of her super forgetful phase and declared "this bedspread looks just like mine!" she also said she wanted to home, but Aunt J explained "this is your new apartment and you live here where people can help you." and she seemed to accept that.

It's true. We thought about the whole second-home-in-California thing, but then we realized that those things take money. And since we're really unskilled at extortion and petty thievery, we're stuck in Ohio for the time being.
