I was at DSW last night and saw lots of sugar flats.
Really? The one and only time I went into DSW they hardly had any flats. I think I should stock up on cute flats while they're still so popular. I can't wear any kind of heel because of my leg braces.

The Koreatown branch of the LA public library sounds really cool! Someone who worked there is talking about it and said it's the largest branch of the LAPL. I need to go over there. I want to go there and also do shopping.

I am Emily. I think my room is good to go. It's as set up as it's going to be for tomorrow. I have lesson plans (sorta...first day and whatnot). I have my class rosters (sorta...they seem to change hourly).
And, I finally have all my syllabi copied. Both copiers broke at school so I ended up going to Kinko's. This is not a good copier portent.

Hip Flexor Update!
Bad news: Still a little tender. Only right leg kicks, no round kicks at all. Phooey.
Good news: Since I had to do different drills (and we had an odd number in class) I got to work with one of the instructors the whole time. Suh WEET. Did form work on my punches and got to hit and hit and hit as hard as I wanted.
Particulary since the person who I was working with yesterday was a little whiny "oh I'm tiiiiiiredddddddd" and kept putting the pads down. (I'm all "grrrrrr.... I can think of a way to get you to keep those pads up bee-yotch)
So today was good. And I was able to do right kicks until almost the end when the left got a little tender from that even.
Good instructor. Good motivator. Doesn't hurt that he looks like this: [link] (he's the white guy)
