You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

(Once, in college, I used the phrase "not enough room to swing a cat" and the person I was speaking to not only had never heard it, but she ran off to write it down to repeat to ... whoever.)

That's a dead cat, if you please.

ETA:

Except, wait! I'm correcting myself. The dead cat is what you swing when there's so many of something that you can't swing the dead cat without hitting one. The general space available cat swing may be just as effectively done with a live cat, for all I know.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

That's a dead cat, if you please.

Much more fun to picture with a live cat, though.

Speaking of cats, mine and my father are getting along famously. It's nice to see (especially since this means he won't kill her for constantly using the carpet as a scratching post).

School starts tomorrow. Fear! Fear and... more fear!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

...if it was a reasonably patient cat and didn't mind a few nasty cracks about the head."

move out and draw fire

Oh god, that school story dredges up all kinds of empathy and horrible childhood memories. Poor thing! Poor mother! Poor thing!

Robert and Mal have both relapsed. I don't think this house is big enough to survive a two-Winchester-mail whinefest.

ION, I just met a Bernese Mountain Dog, and now I utterly want one. Lovely lovely dog.

Mostly lurking...

mine and my father are getting along famously.

That's wonderful!

So, um, this futon is gonna be hard to put together. Maybe I shouldn't have started this tonight.

Thrive to spite them

I need some serious ~ma. G'ma's health is going down bad. Partly, I think, because she can't adequately express when she's in pain. But also because my aunt (her main care taker) can't be there and cant' see the signs of what's going on.

Anyway, without going into the details, my aunt can't take care of G'ma like G'ma needs but my aunt keeps backing down from getting G'ma assessed for assisted living. And, anyway, thoughts and prayers that my aunt will realize this are appreciated.

Our wings are not tired

Gah. I've got a ton of work that I need to do in Vectorworks and I'm having the worst time getting started.

Once this is done then I'm watching a bunch of horror movies tonight. The fun thing is, it's for work. Tonight is Texas Chainsaw Massacre Night.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Oh askye, ~ma to your gram and you.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

~ma to askye's gram!
