I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I have muscular arms. My arms and I are battling, because they'd like to go floppy and meaty, and I refuse. Refuse! So I beat them up and make them lift heavy weights and stuff. But, they're still big, and the cap sleeve defeats me. Except that I still wear them, because I adore the babydoll cut.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Cap sleeves are EVIL, as are the current trend of short-sleeved shirts that have a poof-y thing where the top of the sleeve joins the body of the shirt.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

First of all, lisah, that picture is SO FRIGGING CUTE IT HURTS. Second, that sleeve doesn't seem so cappy -- it's covering the problem arm bit and drawing the eye up to the shoulder and down to the elbow, both of which are nice and delectable. If all cap sleeves were like that one, I'd be much more in favor of them.

lisah photo is super adorable.

ETA: I initially typed "super sugar" and I think I like it! You are so sugar!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

lisah, look like sexy little arms to me!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

So I beat them up and make them lift heavy weights and stuff.

I have been idly considering getting a set of small hand weights to keep in my office, so when I'm sitting at my desk reading stuff, I can work on toning my arms. I'm just not sure if it's one of those great ideas I'd never actually follow through on.

Jilli, I sent off a wee package today. Unfortunately all I had left of Umbrella Academy swag was the Free Comic Book Day comic, which I sent along to you. GF sold all the other stuff out from under me! I also threw in some other stuff from this year and years past that you might enjoy :)

I have small hand weights sitting right here, under the couch! Look, they're dusty.

I used to work out. I used to be skinny. Now I don't work out, and I'm not skinny. Hm. There may be a correlation here.

...Nah.

Punishingly Intricate

I think I like it! You are so sugar!

OMG You are totally sugar too!!!!

If all cap sleeves were like that one, I'd be much more in favor of them.

I mostly posted the link because I LOVE that picture. But I swear I have real cap-sleeved shirts that (I think) look good on my big arms!

I have had small hand weights in my life for years and I can never get motivated to use them. Weight lifting is just boring to me. Any muscle definition I have in my arms comes from yoga. And my arms are way more strong then they've ever been just from the yoga.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

OK, I have some questions for the vaguely librarian-shaped people....

- Is there a good location to find out what schools have MLIS degrees?
- Is there one for figuring out whose programs are any good?
- Is being a librarian just as awesome as I think it would be?

I'm having a controlled career crisis and want to look into some options instead of sitting on my duff like a fool.
