Oh, Hil, I adore and long for bookshelves with glass doors! Are they the law-library style with the doors that open from the bottom? Love those.
'The Killer In Me'
Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

One set are. The other has sliding doors. The wood on both is kind of scratched-up, but the glass is all in perfect condition, so once I have an actual job and some money to spend on stuff like that I'm going to get them fixed up and refinished.
The new ones, just boring plain IKEA shelves. But they're in a color that coordinates with the wood of the other ones, and they're kind of behind the couch, so it doesn't look too horrible. They sold a glass door for these, and I was tempted to get it, but I decided I didn't really need it.
Can I just say that having the washer/dryer in the hallway between the bedrooms is BRILLIANT?!?!
Our new place has the washer/dryer in the ginormous master bedroom walk-in closet, which is pretty cool, too.
Timelies Bitches. Woke up this morning to go kayaking in Long Beach Marina area. It was cool to paddle around water ways I usually drive over. However, I haven't paddled in over a year, and boy are my arms tired. Think I can use this as an excuse for getting my ass kicked in Xbox with Pete & ND? Oy vey I suck at Gears of War worse than Halo. Eh, it will be fun either way :)
So in my paddle journeys, one of the attractions are an area with non-poisonous jellies! It was cool to paddle around without fear of getting jabbed.
If anyone is interested, I'll try and GoogleMap my approximate route after I get my ass fragged in an hour.
Don't worry Omnis, I've not touched Gears of War in months. I won't even remember the controls.

Oooh! Want! I can imagine myself folding the clothes and then simply turning around to put them away. Or just reaching behind me for a hanger and hanging things up right out of the dryer. How cool!
Not that walking from my laundry room (just off the kitchen/dining room area) to the bedroom (just down a very short hall) is such a HUGE task, but, you see, I'm lazy as all hell and way too much of my laundry gets folded and then dumped on the dining room table.
Maybe I should put some of that stuff away now...
I started the campaign last night, and discovered there is a huge difference between 1st person shooter and 3rd person shooter. I keep trying to look around like it was a 1st. :: sigh ::
Want kitten pictures!

Old English furniture polish does wonders for fixing up scratches in wood.
must learn concept of duck... Pete is fraggin' me something fierce.
