I'm very sorry if she tipped off anyone about your cunningly concealed herd of cows.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

From what I've read, this summer has been one of the worst on record for flight delays

yes, absolutely. But whenever I've read the scary stories, or heard the anecdotes from flying friends, Southwest is never a culprit airline. So I was curious about the actual stats. I flew southwest last week and was sure that we'd have delays coming back because we had two layovers (trippling...trebling? wha? ... our chances of being delayed in taking off). But every leg was fine and we ended up getting back here like 15 minutes early.

Southwest is almost always a good option for me though because they have a hub here and go most places I'd need to fly.

Our wings are not tired

Yeah one of the highlights so far today was the kid in front of me at the security check throwing up all over the scanner. This was after they had distinctly said no liquids.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Sorry for the firedrill, everyone! Thanks for the shoulder.

At least you erred in the right direction.

It just took twenty seven minutes to get coffee.

Ooh, I'll get to weigh the adorability of Seattle vs. the adorability of Pete!!

A very brave or very foolish statement from Mears, given that I am her sole company for several hours in Seattle. IJS.

Sox; yeah Comcast peeps turn up in our street all the damn time.

Laga; I'm highly amused by your vaunting of Buffy Season 8. I feel bad telling you this, but those 4 or 5 issues will probably last you about 12 minutes tops. They're not dense reads to say the least.

ND, are you back in LA for Sunday? I might try to arrange some gaming on Live.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The Washington Post ran a cartoon with a bunch of airplane passengers working on a plan to storm the cockpit and force the pilot to take off and fly them to where they were supposed to be going.

A number of people wrote in to complain about its insensitivity re terrorists.
