I forgot to eat dinner. I didn't have much for lunch. I'm feeling very dizzy. I have nothing in my kitchen that doesn't require cooking, and I'm feeling dizzy enough that I don't trust myself to stand up long enough to cook something.
I know I have messed-up blood sugar. I know that skipping meals is bad. I know that I'm supposed to keep Lifesavers or something around for when this happens. And yet, skipped quite a few meals the past few days, have nothing to eat, and stupidly got myself into this situation.
Just remembered. I had some juice boxes in the back of a cabinet. Gross warm orange juice from concentrate, but it'll help.
Hil, do you have any table sugar in the house? How about a glass of sugar water?
I didn't have any table sugar. I ran out last time I made cupcakes, and hadn't bought a new back yet.
I was almost at the point of mixing some confectioners sugar with water when I remembered the orange juice. Feeling a bit better now.
I'm going to see if there's any tacos left
Glucose tablets work well, Hil. Plus? No cooking. Available at your local pharmacy.

I'm glad you're feeling better.
I normally make sure to have some hard candy or something around for if I get blood sugar wackiness. But I ran out a little while ago, and forgot to get more.
More fun with hamster balls.
Quite possibly the cutest thing evah.
Their point is that cats kept indoors live longer. I think it's discounts quality of life, but hey, that's just my opinion.
If you live in a relatively safe area and the cats want to go outside, why not? Some rescue people are just...odd. My cat hates the outside, so it's not an issue. I mean is truly afraid of the outside and only goes out under extreme protest and in a carrier. And in my case that's good because I live 1/2 block from a major interstate and wouldn't let him out anyway.
Suzi, I hope you and your brain got some good sleep.
And now, I'm off for my first day of work in 3 1/2 months!
