I find it strange (and I love animals) that adopting a cat is about as invasive as adopting a child. Our local Rescue demanded permission to make unannounced checkups and to come and look through the windows if we weren't home.
In continued spending news, $60 isn't too much for a cat bed, is it? Especially when it matches the kitteh?
The rescues are getting a bit ridiculous. I mean, do they want homes for these animals or don't they? An animal who is loved, cared for, and occasionally let outside has a much happier life than an animal in a shelter, right?
I sent that cat bed link to GF and she said, "What is that? It looks like a hat!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I took my too tight but cute loafers to the shoe repair place to have them stretched. Worked like a charm and only $5. Makes me happy.
ION, I am freshly shorn and v. gronkly. I went with a friend to the doc this morning. I had to leave home at 7 to pick her up and because of my frelled sleeping schedule, I only got about 2 hours of sleep. I hope this helps me go to bed earlier tonight so I can get up even earlier tomorrow. Because I start new teacher orientation tomorrow!! Yipes! I have to leave home at 6. Yes, it seems there IS a 6 in the morning. Dear me.
Since I was in the city, I got my hair cut and colored and highlighted and I am v. pleased with the results.
