Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

'Life of the Party'

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

New haircut & cute baby.

(Also, this may be the first time any of you have ever seen my natural hair color, since my stylist cut off most of the existing blue and I haven't had time to redye it yet. A rare opportunity!)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Jessica, you look so cute with your hair short. Good looking kid, too.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I am indifferent to Mom's new haircut

I'm not! And to think you had it down to your waist in college.

Oh yeah, the baby's adorable. Maybe even more than adorable. Do we have a word for that yet? Mordorable?

All is well that ends in pizza.

From Slashdot:

"Come Monday, no more Indiana University searches will be powered by computer-driven Google. Only by people-powered ChaCha. The move was announced by new IU President Michael McRobbie, who until recently sat on ChaCha's Board of Directors. IU will draft hundreds of librarians and IT employees to be ChaCha Guides for the university's websites, although a FAQ accompanying IU's press release tells librarians not to expect any checks for their efforts from ChaCha, which IU notes is backed by Amazon's Jeff Bezos and Compaq founder Rod Canion." >[link]

Oh yeah. That's going to go over well. (emphasis mine)

ETA: This sounds like a reverse of the movie "The Desk Set".

Now tagless for your comfort.

Jessica, that cut is of the awesome! And I'm going to agree with cutenss of said baby.

"Mordorable" sounds sort of Sauron-like.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Great haircut and adorable baby. (And I see you've got an Amby. Best baby invention ever, IMHO.)

Our wings are not tired.

You look wonderful, Jessica. Mommyhood clearly suits you. Cute baby too.

The cynical side of me notes that the Republican National Convention is in Minneapolis next summer.

I hope it works in your favor and something happens quickly.

Cute AND evil, just the way we like 'em.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Cute new cut, Jessica, and you have a super cute baby too!

What is everyone doing today?

We're going to a movie, going to dinner, and then going to the market.

Mostly lurking...

Jessica and Raq, thanks for the perspective...I may still give in.

Jessica, CUTE hair! Love it!

I am officially sick of being sick. I have barely gotten out of the house since I came home from IL, and I just got out of bed for today. And I'm still exhausted, coughy, and feverish. Mom's concerned about the still-having-a-fever, so if I still have it tomorrow, I'm supposed to go to urgent care. Blech. I don't like urgent care.
