Ahhhh, there are two at that center - one in the Safeway and a stand alone one between TJ Maxx and Old Navy on the opposite side of the center. I was at the other one.
Snarl. Darn it.
Well, we are about 3/4 of the way done with painting and I've shampooed the carpet. We just need to finish the painting, put up the new curtains and then reassemble the room. Without killing each other and getting blood everywhere.
It's all part of Starbucks evil plot.
Drats! And curse my stupidity months ago in dropping the phone in a full sink and shorting out the phone-number-saving function.
Tomorrow's game is at the ungodly hour of 10 a.m., but there's a good chance Emmett's team will be in the finals, which would mean one more game Monday at 5:30.
Emmett's team won again - their third slaughter in a row
Woo!
I have nothing else. Tired.
Morning all... er.. um... Evening... ok, timelies. Seems I wasn't the only one whose bed held them hostage "get some sleep or I'll never let you go". Ya, so I skipped the lil wedding photo party of some co-workers. The RnR felt much better. Now I'm at KT & ND place cat sitting. And Byron is doing a wonderful job of sitting on my lap making typing difficult. Now I really should work on this database project. Ugg. Motivation low.
Wow DavidS! Awesome news about Emmet's baseball! Maybe he'll beat Barry Bonds HR record in 20 years or so.

Yay Emmett! And team! That Emmett is pretty amazing.

Well, while Emmett and Jack are both tied with 3 home runs this summer, Jack's definitely the more likely contender. Even as a 9 year old he could hit 220 foot bombs. (That's very unusual.) He hit seven home runs in Triple A this last year. I'm pretty sure that's our local record.
Emmett is still planning on making it to the majors though. He's going to Cal on a baseball scholarship and then to the bigs.
That's a lot more plan than I had when I was 10.
This is what I'm saying! Heck, I still don't have a plan.

That's a great plan. I don't recall having a plan at 10. By 12, I wanted to be a vet in a zoo. Erm...well, it didn't quite happen, but the plan was there.
I think that, at 10, I had just abandoned my plan to become an astronaut, because someone told me you can't be an astronaut if you need glasses. My new plan was to become a marine biologist.
