Happy Birthday, Trudy!
A fit of nostalgia hit me when I was looking for new sneakers at the shoe store, so it's back to the 70s for me.
Jason Katims consulting on Bionic Woman - - I want him to concentrate on FNL!!
No problems, tommyrot! I should have gone to the History channel website and gotten the info I was misremembering before going off and posting half-cocked (speaking of weaponry terminology!).
I'm going gym shoe shopping on my lunch break! I have to pick up a pair to wear at my salsa aerobics class tonight (my ancient pair of Payless sneakers have given up the ghost, and were leaking like a sieve last night--they're still wet this morning), so I'm heading over to Famous Footwear and seeing what I can find. I'm currently wearing my new pair of NurseMates to see if they're comfortable enough for me to wear to the bookstore. So far, they haven't cut off the circulation to my toes, so I'm hoping these will be large enough. I can't go any bigger on these (12W is it), so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I've also got my dress shoes for my sister's wedding to try on.
So here's a weird question.
You know those drawers in a library that are real thin and come in a wee stack? What are those called?
Remember the woman who raced her minivan to try to beat the freight train? She died of her injuries. [link]
I guess we'll never know what was so important that she couldn't wait for the train to cross.

Microfiche Drawers?
Card catalog drawers?
Happy birthday Trudy!
Congrats on the house having Vortex!
Yay new puppy 'Suela!
And now I'm all exclaimed out.
