I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We're going to be locked in a tiny windowless room in a place that smells manky and will get no cell service and the bathroom is really far away.

Oh dear.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know, I should probably take some NSAIDS to head off my oncoming sinus headache. Instead of sitting here like I can't do anything about it and play solitaire.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I can feel my sinuses starting to ache, too. I'll have to wait until I get home to pop a Claritin.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

DO NOT WANT.

Will they let you keep the red swingline stapler?

Maybe the universe really wants you to look for a new job.

Remind me to dust off my resume when I get home and after I've napped, man.

Over the weekend I read a little about what's coming up in fashion this season. They used the term "clash" to describe the combination of navy and black. Do y'all see that as a clash? They might not be worn together much, but I think they look okay.

For what it's worth, in the BBC What Not to Wear book with the color charts, they say not to wear black with anything but brown or grey. They are all about "wearing color with color" and hate the prevalence of black. Yet, black does appear as a matching color on one of the color charts--dark blue, specifically, navy.

Will they let you keep the red swingline stapler?

Only if she uses it to staple cover sheets on the TPS reports.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yikes. I like grey a great deal, but I'm very picky about it. I wear black with almost everything. I'm trying to imagine what in my wardrobe would go with this pale pink (sleeveless turtleneck) sweater and coming up very short.

Speaking of coming up short, I think I'm bailing for today. Too much headache. See y'all from the ER, maybe.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's just crazy.

ITA. I wear black with anything. Except dark Navy.
