Second semi is what I meant.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Second semi is what I meant.
I haven't got to Federer yet! I'm still biting my fingernails over Djokovic and Ferrer and their neverending dueling deuces in the second set.
I just finished the second set of the first semi, and I'm going to take a break and go visit Kat's Grace. This migraine-free period mightn't last long, so I should do something for someone else with it.
Irritatingly, the 4 wifebeaters I bought from Ross are only 3. I don't have the receipt, but I might go back anyway. That third one is of dubious value, since I wear the white ones two at a time.
Ugh. Computer problems forced an emergency best buy trip-- 200 dollars later, I have a dead HD and, of course, no backup. Unfortunately, before the trip, I sprained my toe. I'm stuck RICEing posting on my blackberry with no food in the house. At least I picked up some 30 Rock DVDs to console myself.
As a reward for D flipping himself over (back to front) for the first time ever today, we took him for a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.
[eta: Oh, and before our walk we went to Bubby's (the Brooklyn branch) for brunch. NYCistas will recognize this as the restaurant where Teppy mocked us for our seasonal candy.]

BookCourt, the family-owned bookstore at 163 Court Street in Cobble Hill, is bucking the trend of smaller, locally owned booksellers being forced out of business by megastores like Barnes & Noble and Borders. The owners have announced that it will expand into adjacent space they now own, which will double the area of the store. Space for all categories of books will be expanded and new sections added. Non-fiction books will be moved from the basement to the street level, and the lower level will be used for remaindered, or bargain, titles. There will be a "dedicated events space for readings and performances" and, to top things off, a "small cafe & bar with an accompanying outdoor garden."
Finished the first semi. Now I'm moving on to Federer and Davydenko.
ETA: Duuuuuuude.
Wacky, no?
mac and I conquered the Bronx Zoo today. He is lost as to why I am tired.
Wacky, no?
Ha! I believe my reaction to the first set is OMGWTF.
