Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

left the sick kids with the nanny! Must be nice!

I dunno, I like to be the taking care of the sick ones if I can. No feeling out-of-the-loop, plus lots of snuggles. Still, if they need to stay home tomorrow we'll call my MiL to watch them. I hate sending them to school too quickly.

I'm sorry too, ita. I was a pretty stressy thing. As it was, we were cleaning house until 1 am and then up again at 6:00 to finish before guests arrived. I need to keep the house neater.

Kat, I LOVE the pool pics. Yay for pool time for Noah!

After you've used the carpet cleaner on a discolored spot in the carpet 2 times and the area around it is noticably cleaner, but its ghost still remains, you should just give up and admit this is just the normal wear and tear on a 10 year old oatmeal colored berber, right?

know I will be going all Lady McB on this thing. It's what I do.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mostly a result of juggling baby, K, mom, brother. I barely spoke to anyone!

Hey, that's a lot of juggling.

I am familiar with that pattern of thought.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Seriously. Me too. Something new? Probably sucks. Oh, until I get there and it's awesome.

I swear to god, The Singing Bee is the most fun tv show ever. I guess it's more fun if you like karaoke, but still. So fun!!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

karaoke is torture for me. So not for me, i'm guessing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

it amuses me to think I (short and squat) can wear something that ita (tall and curvaceous) can wear.

I was curvaceous, for a second. I need gain maybe 10lbs back.

And if I can in any way gain them by eating frozen seedless grapes, I may have the makings of a brilliant plan. This is like crack, man.

Oh, until I get there and it's awesome.

t Eeyore still stuck in the doldrums

It takes me a little longer.

I'm with Kat. I can see how karaoke fun for some, but it triggers my cringe. Probably because it merges two cringy things: me singing and public exposure.
