Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Correct, Kat.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Is the cat deaf?

I don't think so. Besides, since she was lying on the phone, she would have felt it when it rang. She's just a weirdo.

I'm reviewed on Huffington Post! Hooray!

Right ON!!!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Excellent review!

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Great review! I love that she sees how Allyson bucks the stereotypes.

However, I am put out by the fact that she calls the Nilly essay "the weakest." Clearly she has no magic in her heart. I will give her props for then following the criticism with a huge compliment to A's engaging writing voice, however.

She confused the Bronze and here which makes me giggle

Also this.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Congrats, Not!Kristen!

In other VP news, I just got word that my Amazon pre-order has shipped -- I suspect that the next big batch of copies will be getting into people's hands this week.

In other mailing news, I just got word that my passport application (which was mailed July 11) has already been processed and my passport has been mailed to me!

Fluke? Or is the passport office finally getting its act together?

Of course, I conclude nothing until my passport is in my hot little hands. And with my name spelled correctly this time!

Huh? I mailed my renewal application in May, and I still haven't heard or received anything. (The check cleared, though). Did you request expedited service?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That was a superfabulous review; one by someone who really read and grokked the book. I love how much of it is quoted or paraphrased, the reveiwer must have really liked your words.

Also, the post bits of "Nilly" made me all weepy, but of course, because we were here! I was telling the SO it was like the little kids' "My Book About Me" for Buffistas.

No. I can only hypothesize that the fact that my name on the application didn't exactly match my passport flagged it somehow.

They cashed my check on July 20. And I just got an automatic email saying it had been mailed.
