Theo - mac's foot is doing pretty good. He hops about the house and scoots on his bottom. He is not to put any pressure on the foot until it is out of the cast, 10 more days. we are in count-down mode here.
I just got back from 5.5 hours of tennis at the Open. God that was good tennis. Big day for 18 year olds. 2 big wins and one tight match that ended in loss.
mac was treated to 2 museums and a zoo with a friend of mine and her roommate.
Now a Nature episode on PBS about Chasing Big Cats. Since lions are mac's favorite animal AND this is Africa. He is really enjoying it.
Franny has a broken finger. And a birthday party tomorrow. YIPES!
Aww! Poor baby. That sounds like a recipe for disaster!
Much -ma to your mom, Consuela--sounds very painful! But fingers crossed that you get the doggie!!
I am feeling lazy, but suspecting I should attempt to not be lazy. Like, call somebody up and do something. And yet, the lazy is winning...
Ow! Franny!
I started getting my stuff together to go to the library, but gave it up when I found out that they were closed on account of Holiday.
I'm watching FNL on NBC. And man, I hope at some point they come out with a version of the season one dvds with more of the musical cues. I think that the music just drops out in the teaser where
CT sees Street coaching Matt and also -- when Waverly and Lilah are target shooting -
seeing it on tv again brings it right back. I mean, I get that they were getting dvds out as cheap as possible and thus - not many extras and less music but it would be cool to get another set with more stuff.
FNL: They had a "sneak peak" at the end of "Mud Bowl." I hope that they have more during/at the end of the other two episodes.
Also, Non-spoilery Q&A with Gaius Charles.
Glad to report that paperdol was an fabulous speaker. Enjoyed Vroman's muchly.
I love "Mud Bowl". Awesome ep. When does S2 start, again?
As I was leaving home today, late to get my mom and brother, I had Noah in his carseat and I tripped and fell, majorly fell, down the steps to our house. It was AWFUL because the little man went down when I did. Of course he had the safety of a car seat to protect him and he wasn't even bugged where I threw a shoulder to break the fall, and I slammed my shins into something and my foot was bleeding.
I sat in the driveway half-crying and Noah gave me that look of, "cool trick, Mom! Do it again!"
I'm in a state of overwhelmed. It's official. I could barely focus at paperdol's reading.
Oh, sweetie, that's so scary. And Noah's reaction? Typical kid.
I hope the over backs off.
