Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, I don't think I've posted about it. I have to go to a bridal shower in PA. It's a tea at 2, but the bus only runs every two hours, so I have to take the 11, which will get me there at 12:30. And then we're supposed to go out tonight, but I don't know what the hell we're going to be doing all day. Eh. I'm sure it will be fun enough, but the logistics are bumming me out.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The logistics do sound tiring. I hope you have a good time!

I think I may try the sleep thing again.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Huh. I just used Hotwire to rent a car for the day, and got a total of well less than half of any of the rates I was finding through Orbitz or the individual company sites. Under $25 including the taxes/fees. Plus I was able to pay with PayPal. I'll have to remember this for next time.

I think it only works for airport pick-up/drop-off, but you're pretty much stuck with that if you want a weekend drop off or pick up anyway around here.

Loved seeing the Sidewalk Prank first thing (practically) this morning! I gather this is the Midwest (the cow suit is a dead giveaway) so that explains the lack of runover bodies in the crosswalk in the last three minutes.

I couldn't believe those cars just sat there. I have no kind of patience when I'm driving.

Also, am idiot. Why would I use PayPal for a car rental? I forgot that with my own car now garaged, I don't have insurance on it so I'll have to buy the damn coverage since I didn't use a credit card that would cover me. Oh well, still coming out a lot cheaper.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yay productive morning. I have moved a bookcase and a chair, gathered laundry for washing (tomorrow) and gone through last year's and summer school's work to toss the obviously less than memorable drawings and work. and now changing bed.

Jesse, I think I find the prank a good one because while obnoxious, it's technically letter of the law and it's funny. Irritating to the drivers, sure. But essentially harmless.

Oh man.

Logistics have been bumming me out for WEEKS now. I'll spare y'all the details but suffice it to say, I've had my ass kicked by bureaucracies now.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I talked to my mom this morning; I don't know that she's feeling better, but at least she's not dehydrated anymore. She's just bored and lonely--it's a suburban hospital on a long holiday weekend, so they can't even do any of the tests her doctors wanted to run.

If I were nearby, I'd bring her a portable dvd player and a stack of movies. Well, at least she can read: I hope she has enough books!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm glad there has been some progress, Consuela, at least.
