Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Plenty of time, right?

Two hours? Plenty of time! I don't think I've forgotten anything important, but I'm only now just getting coffee.

Have sore jaw. It woke me up this morning. Not a good way to wake up.

Also, in fighting with my cat over the pillow in my sleep, I dreamed he was 74964399342.68 (or something like that) and if I could just turn him into a whole integer divisible by 5, he'd stop kicking me in the head and I'd have the pillow all to myself.

It made sense then, ok?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Neat ideas:

Thank Ann Coulter. Ann Coulter is speaking on Xavier University's campus September 6 in Cincinnati. Her $20,000+ speaking fee equals about $5 for every Xavier student. Can you give $5 to support student groups on Xavier's campus working for justice, diversity, fairness, and compassion? The same kind of groups Ann Coulter regularly attacks? We'll let her know how much we raise, and send her a thank you card signed with your name.

Of course it makes sense. He would then be a respectable member of the rational numbers group, and as a rational being, he would understand why kicking you is not the proper thing to do. I mean, obviously.

Bwahahaha!

I think the evenings of tutoring this summer have taken their toll.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

as a rational being

Nah, he'd still be a cat.

But a cat divisible by 5!

No, wait. Every cat should be this way, what with four legs plus one tail. Hmm.

Hivemind: I seem to have developed seasonal allergies for the first time in my life. I had about a month of itchy throat caused by postnasal drip this spring, and now it's back. Can anyone recommend a safe, no-side-effect, cheap OTC medicine to help make me feel less like ripping my throat out, and possibly the throat of any innocent being who happens to annoy me? I have tried taking sudafed at night sometimes, and it helps some, but I am wary of taking a sudafed every night for weeks on end. Or do I need to see a doctor?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Ann Coulter is speaking on Xavier University's campus September 6 in Cincinnati.

I thought for a second you meant Xavier in New Orleans, and I was prepared to be very surprised.

Benadryl will help, but it may make you sleepy. Afrin will help, but it can only be used for about three days before it starts making things worse. Theo is a big proponent of plain old saline nasal spray.
