I found a takeout menu shoved under my door. They deem themselves a taste of home: mac& cheese, greens, fried plantains, rice & peas, candy yams, mashed potatoes, mozzarella sticks, wings, rice & gravy, subs (including cheese fish. ew?) curried chicken, jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, curried goat, fricassee chicken and goat, oxtail, cow foot, fried beef fingers, stew beef, pepper steak, short ribs, fried chicken, lake trout, escovitched fish, fried shrimp & fries, burgers, ginger beer, kola champagne, guava, mango or passion and carrot juice...
I'm thinking it's a combination of a taste of the Caribbean home , plus some local-to-the-nabe homes?
I'm gonna have to give them a try.

The lake trout is definitely a local addition. Lots of places in my neighborhood have it on their menu . I don't know about greater B'more, but it's definitely a popular item in the few-block radius. It's good. At least the place next to the 24 hour laundromat is.
