"I loved it," 7-year-old William Smith said as the smoke started to clear. "One day I'm gonna blow up my own house."
I hope someone's taking note of the wee firebug.
Ohmigod I'm sleepy. Yet there is work to be done. Something's pretty unfair around here.
Aw, crap -- Richard Jewell, who was falsely accused in the Atlanta Olympic bombing, died at age 44 today. I feel particularly bad because he really
was
a hero -- his timely action moved a lot of people away from the bomb and easily saved dozens of lives, and instead he got screwed over by law enforcement and the media. He deserved to live many more years, vindicated.
Richard Jewell
That is so sad. Poor scapegoat guy who was really hero guy.
Headed out for a toast to the city with some other Louisianians and those who love us.
See y'all later.
Didn't Jewel just get a big settlement from a TV network? Hope he had time to enjoy it....
The guy who did set the bomb in Atlanta (Rudolph) also blew up that Birmingham clinic. I'd forgotten that. I've now been by the clinic since my brother parks next to it every day.
I shouldn't be worried about my friend who's 8 months pregnant and hasn't returned my calls in two days, should I? Someone would have called if she had the baby, right?
Also, Air Canada is having a sale, and I can't afford to go anywhere. It is killing me. I really need a vacation.
