So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

Happy birthday, meara and the elusive Jen! meara, I hope the year brings great things. IMO the 30s are very good.

I arrived at work to find that someone, presumably Systems, seems to have stripped my computer overnight. Everything that was on my desktop is gone, including my shortcuts to applications and files, as are all my Firebox bookmarks, plugins, etc. I had no warning this was going to happen. Luckily I didn't have anything important saved to the desktop only. I have sent in a politely indignant ticket, but I am getting more and more pissed off the more I try to accomplish and discover things are NOT THERE. The bookmarks! Work-related ones - I have no idea what the url is to get into the dashboard of the blog I manage, for example. WTF, Systems? YOU FAIL.

I have a new job! And a new place to live!

And for my new job, I am currently faffing on the internet. But it's really not my fault. I'm meant to be writing reports that the person before me didn't get around to before she left, but the data I've been given makes no sense in relation to the other reports already written from the sites. And there's sixty four to be written. Argh.

Oh phew. It was a minor problem - someone logged into my computer on a different profile, and didn't put me back when they were done. I can stop freaking out and vowing death on the evil doers.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Birthday Happies to meara and Jen K!

My dad let me watch The Birds when I was 2 and the next day a bird got in the house through the chimney. My parents had more trouble catching me than the bird.

I can see how HP would be scarier for mac than for most kids. Poor noodle. I hope he doesn't dwell on it too long.

I woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. At 6 I gave up and broke out the Pilates DVD I bought a couple months ago. I usually like to get more than 3 hours of sleep, but the exercise thing would be good to get in the habit of.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Happies to meara and Jen!

flea, I'm glad it was nothing, but you can be mad at systems anyway. I'm sure they did something else.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthdays, Jen K and meara!

A signer should ask a co-signer to take over payments only if the signer can't make the payments no way no how. Though I'd want to see the second lease that cousin signed.
